Holy Cow! I'm here!

I have always resisted the urge to start a blog. Despite the fact that i love to write, i found the blogging habit a bit too "writing-demanding" for me. If you are reading this, you must be wondering, "Why the heck did she start?"

Well.....i could tell the long story....or i could tell a super compressed version of the so-called long story since i am in no mood to bore or to be bored :). I came across a super awesome blog that uploaded links to very old long lost vinyl and cassette record. I happened to find old vinyl records of some of my favourite childhood Ghanaian musicians there. I literally pinched myself when i saw Onipa Nua, Tagoe Sisters and George Jahraa (Yes, the old driver banza-singing George Jahraa not the new and improved ashikele-lized Jahraa). I was inspired by this amazing blogger to start something that people will look to and find something inspiring. I created my blog then and exclaimed to myself, "Holy Cow! I'm here!" Yes, i'm here....blogging my troubles away. Hopefully, i'm here for good. More grease to my keyboard.
